Presenting the RunFlat System it has developed for wheeled armoured land vehicles, AKSA RUNFLAT showcased various members of its broad product family at the event. Among the products exhibited by the company were two-part, three-part and Hybrid RunFlat Systems, which can be optimised according to the rim size of vehicles of different weights.
Shortly before the event, AKSA RUNFLAT entered into an agreement with Heavy Industries Taxila (HIT), a Pakistani land vehicle manufacturing company, for the sale of the 16.00×20-type RunFlat System. Prior to the signing of the agreement, the company’s products were tested on a Dragoon 4×4 armoured security vehicle in the service of HIT. During the tests, carried out in accordance with the FINABEL standards, the tires of a Dragoon vehicle were fitted with the AKSA RunFlat System, and were shot seven times with 7.62×51 NATO armour piercing bullets, aimed specifically at the RunFlat System. The fully loaded vehicle then moved, on a flat tire fitted with the AKSA RunFlat System and the test was completed successfully.
AKSA RunFlat’s products, aside from Turkey and Pakistan, are in use in such countries as the Czechia, Malaysia, Philippines, Russian Federation, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, South Africa, Spain, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, Montenegro, and Ukraine.
