by MSI

The news article that is in the first section of IDEF’19 Special Dossier published in the 70th issue of MSI Turkish Defence Review is now available on our website:

Anova’s main focus at the event were its subsystems, each of which requires special expertise. The Ammunition Backpack was the most noteworthy of the solutions being displayed for the first time.

Offering a broad range of products from its flex chute family, the company has adapted its expertise in this field to the needs of the individual soldier. The Ammunition Backpack comprises a backpack in which the ammunition is carried, a flex chute that feeds the ammunition from the backpack to the rifle, and the rifle itself. Depending on the size of the backpack and the calibre of the ammunition, up to 600 bullets can be carried within a single system, allowing a soldier to bringing high firepower to the battlefield. The system can accommodate ammunition for 7.62 mm and 5.56 mm calibre weapons.

In addition to its use for the Environmental Conditioning Unit developed for a targeting pod, the control box is also being marketed as an independent product. Featuring an incremental number of channels, the box can be used as a control unit for various cooling systems. The Environmental Conditioning Unit Control Box has attracted particular attention due to its compliance with the MIL-STD-810, 461 and 704 standards.
