The special coverage published in the 58th issue of MSI Turkish Defence Review (TDR) is below:
Anova took the opportunity at Eurosatory to display its Flexible Ammunition Belt product family, the Heating And Cooling Unit developed for ASELSAN, its Gerotor Hydraulic Pump and its Fuel Transfer Pump.
After making many successful deliveries of its flexible ammunition belts in Turkey, Anova has turned its attention to the export market and already achieved to sell its products abroad. With a view to gaining new foreign customers, it entered into talks with weapon system manufacturers from the United States, South Africa and the Middle East during the event. Among the companies Anova held bilateral meetings were also Turkish land vehicle and gun turret manufacturers participating at the exhibition. As a result of the wider recognition of its new products in the field, the company received orders for flexible ammunition belts for 20×102 mm calibre munitions, although no such product is yet in its product range yet.
Among Anova’s flexible ammunition belts, addressing a total of nine different calibre munitions, five (7.62, 12.7, 25, 30 and 40 mm) have been designed and produced in such a way that they can be used with various NATO standard munitions. The remaining belts in the product family, for 7.62×54 mm, 12.7×108 mm, 14.5×114 mm and 30×165 mm calibres, have been designed to meet Russian standards. Unlike the first six products with common features, the bodies of the 7.62×51 mm, 7.62×54 mm and 40 mm flexible ammunition belts are made of composite that is lighter and more cost-efficient than aluminium. The plan for the coming period is to use composites for the previously designed and produced calibres as well.
Attracting great attention also with its Heating And Cooling Unit, Fuel Transfer Pump, and Gerotor Hydraulic Pump which has been subject to export orders, the company held bilateral meetings with companies from various countries who declared an interest in these products.
