The products of GES Engineering were not only on display at their own stand, but also that of Optokon. GES Engineering became a subcontractor to Optokon within the scope of the cooperation between TTAF Defence and Optokon, and is now producing military unit cases for Optokon. Ersin Özbek, Member of the Board of Directors at GES Engineering, explained this cooperation: “We started to produce for Optokon with the synergy that we created with TTAF Defence. Now we can see that this agreement has been to the benefit of all three parties. We make use of our production capabilities; Optokon ensures quality and cost-effective procurement; and TTAF Defence increases the local production rate by proposing Optokon solutions for use in Turkey. We think that such cooperation agreements signed based on company synergy should increase, along with the growth of the capabilities in the sector, and we believe we represent a good example in this sense.”
