BMC was once again included in the Defense News Top 100 list, which lists the world’s top 100 defence contractors. The company, which is the choice of many end users around the globe, especially the Turkish Armed Forces, has strengthened its place in the list thanks to the breakthroughs made as a reflection of its investments towards facilities and technologies.
The Top 100 list, published annually by Defense News magazine, was announced in its 17 August issue. This year for the first time, 7 companies were on the list at once, and BMC was one of them. BMC, which entered the list in 2019 for the first time in the 85th place, has strengthened its place in this race among the world’s giants by ranking 89th this year. In the list, BMC’s defence revenue for 2019 was announced as $533.56 million. With a total revenue of $676.59 million, the firm obtained 79% of it from defence contracts.
BMC stated: “As the BMC Family, we are proud of representing our country worldwide, and we thank all our colleagues and stakeholders for their efforts.”
Today, BMC exports to over 80 countries, and with over 2,500 employees, provides a significant contribution to Turkey’s economy.
