CANIK Will Be Expanding Its Product Catalogue With CYBERGUN

CANIK, a brand of Samsun Yurt Savunma (SYS) has announced on 6 February that an exclusive license agreement was signed with CYBERGUN.

According to the information in the press release published by the company, the general lines of the agreement were determined at SHOT SHOW 2020 expo held in Las Vegas on 21-24 January. This agreement covers the design, production and distribution of 4.5 millimetre and 6 millimetre calibre airsoft guns aimed at the civilian and the military market. The sale of weapons and airsoft versions in the current product range of CANIK will be carried out as soon as the models are ready for commercial applications. The first emerging product as a result of this partnership will be the CANIK TP9 Elite and it is aimed to be showcased in the middle of this year.

Hugo Brugiere, Chairman and CEO of CYBERGUN, gave the following statement about the contract: “CYBERGUN has demonstrated its ability to cooperate with the world’s largest firearms manufacturers to expand the product portfolio they offer to the civilian and military market once more. While we take justified pride of this agreement, we look forward to bringing the products that will emerge as a result of this partnership to our customers.”

C. Utku Aral, General Manager of SYS, had the following statement: “CANIK, which has proved its commercial ability and capacity worldwide with millions of weapons sold to the military market to date, continues to strengthen its product catalogue. We are very pleased to sign this agreement, which covers both civil and military sectors, with CYBERGUN. Considering that we are utilising the opportunities ahead, we can easily say that CYBERGUN can best represent our brand and defend our interests in the best way.”
