CEY Defense Explains its Simulation Solutions for the Sector During a Visit to MSI TDR

Orkun Zorba, General Manager of CEY Defense, as one of the leading companies in the sector with its young and dynamic workforce, and Necmi Özdemir, Program Manager at CEY Defense, visited MSI TDR on 29 September. The main item on the agenda during the visit was the indigenous and innovative engineering and simulation solutions that CEY Defense can offer to the sector.

CEY Defense is carrying out its activities from its facility security-certified office in Hacettepe Teknokent, where it is working on war game simulations, simulation infrastructures and high-performance software development.

The company is specialized in the development, improvement and maintenance of war game simulators, in which it develops solutions at strategic, operational and tactical levels, while developing the infrastructure, services and tools required for the effective use of structural simulations.

CEY Defense also involved in the field of simulation infrastructure software, which is currently mostly procured from abroad and so is an important need for Turkey. In this field, the company has created a product family that is compatible with the established standards, that can be expanded and that can be customized according to specific needs. This product family includes:

  • ARTI: HLA compatible run-time infrastructure
  • MOTA: Model definition language and tools for discrete time simulations
  • NAUTILUS: A simulation infrastructure with a microservice architecture that can be used in joint simulations

The company is carrying out its high-performance software development activities with a user-oriented approach and in integration with system engineering, field expertise, testing, integration and other support activities.
