Yonca-Onuk JV came back home with a Memorandum of Understanding from DIMDEX 2022. The company signed the MoU for the production, procurement, and maintenance of 4 of its Yonca-Onuk MRTP24/U Fast Missile Craft (FMC) vessels with Qatar Armed Forces. If the memorandum leads the way for a certain sale, the end-user for the boats will be Qatari Joint Special Forces.

Yonca-Onuk JV had already delivered the 4 MRTP 24/U Special Operation Crafts (SOC) to Qatari Joint Special Forces last year, in line with an agreement signed.

Yonca-Onuk MRTP24/U FMC will have the same hull and superstructure design with Yonca-Onuk MRTP24/U SOC vessels, while the new boats will be equipped with air defence missile systems and ASELSAN 12,7 mm STAMP-2 stabilized weapon system. The boats will have a maximum speed above 50 knots and a maximum range above 500 nautical miles.

Yonca-Onuk JV has delivered 20 vessels to Qatar Armed Forces, with 3 of them being Yonca-Onuk MRTP16 Fast Intervention Craft, 3 of them Yonca-Onuk MRTP34 Fast Patrol Attack Boat, 10 of them Yonca-Onuk MRTP20 Improved Fast Intervention Craft, and 4 of them being Yonca-Onuk MRTP 24/U Special Operation Craft.
