ICDDA to Bring SMEs and Primary Contractors Together with Global Actors

Industrial Cooperation Days in Defence and Aviation (ICDDA) is getting ready to open its doors for the 5th time between 12-14 October. The event, organized with the support of the Presidency of Defence Industry Agency (SSB) and the organization of the OSTİM Defence and Aviation Cluster (OSSA), will be held at the ATO Congresium Exhibition Centre in Ankara.

Concrete Steps for Collaboration

ICDDA 2022 aims to reveal the target countries and regions with their unique needs and opportunities and to transform potential cooperation opportunities in the defence and aviation sectors into concrete steps. In this regard, SMEs and prime contractors operating in the defence and aerospace sectors will meet with global actors. Among the objectives of the event are to find new markets, seize business opportunities and support establish business partnerships for the prime contractors and SMEs operating in the fields of defence, aviation, and space. During the event, B2B meetings, conferences, seminars, and industrial visits will be organized for this purpose.

In ICDDA 2022; the French company VIMEET, which provides B2B services in numerous organizations including Eurosatory 2022 and Farnborough International Airshow 2022, will act as co-organizer. Prime contractor companies and delegations from; Azerbaijan, Brazil, Canada, United Kingdom, Finland, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Netherlands, Nigeria, Norway, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates, United States of America, Czechia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Georgia, Moldova, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Romania, Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, Jordan, Sudan, Iraq, Morocco, Egypt, Algeria, Kenya, Tanzania, Ghana, Senegal, Ethiopia, South Africa and many other countries were invited. Moreover, participation invitations were also sent to Turkish prime contractor companies such as ASELSAN, Turkish Aerospace, Roketsan, HAVELSAN, TEI, ASPILSAN Enerji, ISBIR, FNSS, Kale Aero, Meteksan Defence, BMC, Otokar, MKE. Participation confirmations have also started to be received from these countries and companies.

Conferences and Panels Will Be Information Sharing Platforms

ICDDA 2022 will also host a series of conferences on topics such as civil aviation, land-sea-air systems, homeland security technologies, sustainability, and supply chain development. On the 2nd and 3rd days of the event, panels will be held for professionals to share scientific, industrial, technical, and commercial changes in the market.
