Mesan was present in SAHA EXPO not only with mine detectors, but with its new additions to its traffic security systems such as Medar MTS Mobile Speed Detection System and Medar TD Traffic Statistics System. The company presented these products for the first time.

Medar MTS, a lidar based system, is used to track the speed, lane and class of vehicles, especially used for detecting high speeding vehicles with logging the time & place of the incidents. The system is also capable of recognising lane violations, and with its integrated IR unit, it can perform its duties in night-time conditions. The system is also capable of tracking many vehicles at once, and it offers various mounting options both for on vehicle and tripod.

Medar TD collects statistical information on the road it has been located. The system is enclosed in a compact container, and able to observe the road with its built-in optical sensors. Medar TD can be easily placed on poles or streetlamps and able to operate for one week with its internal battery, or for an unlimited time with solar panels. The system delivers the data it collects through GSM networks in real time. The operators of the system can access various data such as the number, class, or the time of passing vehicles.
