Highlights of MRBS’21

The Third International Military Radar + Border Security Summit (MRBS) was held in Ankara between 5-6 September. The event was visited by Süleyman Soylu, Minister of Interior, Mustafa Varank, Minister of Industry and Technology, Prof. Dr. İsmail Demir, President of Defence Industries, and they examined almost all booths. The event also brought decision makers and solution providers together.

We present the highlights of the event to you, dear reader.

ALPAGU Defence, which offers solutions for coast defence applications, had the chance to inform Süleyman Soylu, Minister of Interior, about their activities at the MRBS’21.
ANKETEK, a company that is active in modern antennas, embedded systems, FPGA based processor cards, wireless communication systems, high efficiency RF circuits, and sensor networks, presented its capabilities and technologies to its visitors of MRBS’21.
ASELSAN presented its wide range of solutions for border defence to Süleyman Soylu, Minister of Interior, at the MRBS’21.
Border defence oriented radar and anti-drone solutions and X-Ray scanners were among the products ASELSAN showcased in its MRBS’21 booth. The company is also working on a AESA radar for detecting drones.
ASR Teknoloji showcased its solutions for electronic security systems, at the MRBS’21.
BASE Studio, a company that develops driveline solutions for wheeled vehicles, promoted its axle, transfer case, and differential solutions aimed at 4×4, 6×6, and 8×8 vehicles for border security, at the MRBS’21. The company’s products are already being used in ATEŞ Armoured Border Security Vehicle in the service of Turkish Land Forces.
Mustafa Varank, Minister of Industry and Technology was informed about the recent activities of BMC, at the MRBS’21.
Gürbüz Trade showcased specialised solutions to meet various demands of the security forces in its MRBS’21 booth.
Huglu Hunting Firearms Cooperative introduced the products it showcased and summarised its product development efforts to Mustafa Varank, Minister of Industry and Technology, at the MRBS’21.
KEDACOM presented its solutions for smart urban security at the MRBS’21.
Manisa Teknokent Technology Transfer Office presented various components and parts made by the companies it represents using diverse production technologies at the MRBS’21.
Mikro-Tasarım, a company which designs and produces high-performance readout integrated circuits and imaging sensors to be used in monolithic and hybrid imaging sensors for scientific, industrial, and commercial imaging applications, had its products present both in its MRBS’21 booth and in the booths of the companies it produces systems for. Süleyman Soylu, Minister of Interior was among the company’s visitors.
Süleyman Soylu, Minister of Interior was informed about MilSOFT’s solutions at the MRBS’21.
MZD Savunma, which offers solutions in production of cable equipment and electro-mechanic assembly, informed Mustafa Varank, Minister of Industry and Technology, regarding the company’s activities at the MRBS’21.
Radio Teknoloji, a company that acts as a distributor and an integrator for outdoors wireless communication solutions, informed Prof. Dr. İsmail Demir, President of Defence Industries about the company’s activities at the MRBS’21.
Robit Teknoloji, which provides value added engineering solutions in IT, presented Prof. Dr. İsmail Demir, President of Defence Industries with a souvenir at the MRBS’21.
Scandium Defence Industry & Trade JSC, a company that acts as a middleman for importing and exporting military and civilian products, technologies, and services, presented a section of the products it is dealing with in its MRBS’21booth.
Altan Yavaş, Strategy and Business Development Director of SimBT, held a presentation in the session “Digital Naval Navigation and Communications” that was held on the first day of the MRBS’21, and talked about the company’s simulation solutions aimed at naval platforms.
Teknopark Istanbul marketed the advantages it offers to its member firms in its MRBS’21 booth. The booth was visited by Süleyman Soylu, Minister of Interior as well.
Teleskop Digital Observer, an application for following the news, social media, and internet on a key topic, was present in the MRBS’21 with a booth. Süleyman Soylu, Minister of Interior was informed about the application in his visit.
ULAK crew presented its mobile cell tower at the MRBS’21 and had a selfie with Mustafa Varank, Minister of Industry and Technology.
Yayla informed Mustafa Varank, Minister of Industry and Technology about its products, which security forces can benefit at the MRBS’21.
