Samsun Yurt Savunma’s (SYS) group companies UNIROBOTICS and AEI Systems signed a memorandum of understanding with Nurol Makina at the Defence and Security Equipment International Exhibition (DSEI 2023), one of the most renowned fairs across the globe, held between 12-15 September in London, UK. Signatories for the memorandum were Ömür Baç for UNIROBOTICS, Simon Angel for AEI Systems, and Engin Aykol for Nurol Makina. According to the agreement, AEI Systems’ armaments, together with UNIROBOTICS’ national remote-controlled stabilised weapon turret system, will be integrated into Nurol Makina’s NMS-L 4X4 vehicle, which was launched at IDEF’23.

Cahit Utku Aral, General Manager of SYS, shared the following: “We are proud to be a part of Turkish and British dominance in medium-calibre cannons together with AEI Systems, a UK-based company we recently acquired. Our latest step makes us join forces with already-established companies in the Turkish defence sector. I wholeheartedly believe that, together with Nurol Makina, we will achieve even greater success by bringing our different skill sets together.”
