Nurol Makina at Full Pace after IDEF: GIDRAN Exhibited in Slovak Republic

Nurol Makina participated in the IDEB 2021 exhibition held on 25-27 August in the Slovak Republic. The company exhibited the version of the 4×4 tactical wheeled armoured vehicle EJDER YALÇIN, which is used by the Hungarian Armed Forces with the name of GIDRAN.

It was emphasised in the press release published by Nurol Makina that EJDER YALÇIN, which was exhibited in IDEB 2018 and tested by the Slovak Ministry of Defence, was a well-known vehicle in this country. The press release also noted that this combat-proven vehicle can undertake a wide range of tasks and has high levels of protection and mobility.

Slovak Ministry of Defence is conducting a tender for the supply of 404 armoured vehicles in a 4×4 configuration according to the official website of the ministry. EJDER YALÇIN competes with 6 different vehicles within the scope of this tender with a maximum value of €782.7 million. The ministry aims to complete the procurement of the vehicles by 2024.
