Indigenous Solutions from PALS for Uninterrupted Communications

by Can Kılınç

PALS, which provides solutions for end users in satellite communication, underlines the fact that its indigenous developments have a domestic production rate as high as 92 percent. The product family of the company includes satellite communication antenna systems that comply with military standards such as MIL-STD-810G, MIL-STD-461F and MIL-STD-188-164A and software solutions such as Environmental Monitoring System (EMS) and Network Management System (NMS).

In its booth, PMA-90 antenna, which can be carried by just one person in a back-pack and is already in service, and POMA-55 antenna, which provides uninterrupted communications on-the-move, were the highlights of the satellite system displays. IDEF 2021 was the first time POMA-55 was displayed.

In addition, PALS presented its Vision NMS and Sight EMS software suites to the visitors. When used together, these two suites can oversee and manage hundreds of systems connected to the same network and monitor remote systems in real time.

PALS also supplies products that are not developed in Turkey but offers value to the end user, with its foreign collaborations. As such, Paradigm’s Swarm and PIM products were showcased in PALS’ stand. Both of these products were shown off for the first time in Turkey.

Ahmet Sucu, Founder and CEO of PALS articulated his assessments in attending IDEF 2021 as follows: “With IDEF 2021, we were able to meet face to face with our stakeholders after a long break. In addition, we were able to present our company and our products to companies we haven’t been able to meet before; follow newest technology developments and new products, commence market analyses for potential collaborations and get in touch with potential suppliers. We had the chance to meet with plenty of Turkish and foreign delegations and organisations. Some of these included General Command of Gendarmerie, Turkish National Police, delegations from Asian and African countries and giants in defence and telecommunications sectors such as ASELSAN, Turkish Aerospace and Turksat. We gained insights about potential projects and informed about our solutions and capabilities.

We hold fairs like IDEF in very high regard. In the near future, we will be attending a fair every month in different parts of the world. With these attendances we have been exporting Turkish satellite antenna technologies to the world for a long time, and able to constantly find new business partners and projects.”
