Speaking on SAHA EXPO, Haluk Bayraktar, Chairman of the Board of SAHA Istanbul stated: “With our fair held under the leadership of SAHA Istanbul, we had the chance to demonstrate the world the potential of domestic production in Turkey’s defence, aerospace, and maritime industries. Since the interest for our fair had been extremely high, we extended the end date from 9 April to 9 May. Many companies and state representatives from North and South America, Europe, the Middle East, North and Continental Africa, Far East, Ukraine, and Russia visited our fair. At our fair, we showcased the products that are being produced by the actors within the industry and that have not been introduced anywhere before. Our fair hosted collaborations that will make significant contributions to our national technology initiative. We will continue to add new events to those which will increase the contribution of our cluster to the industry and the National Technology Initiative.”
The next SAHA EXPO fair is planned to be held as a hybrid event this year. The physical part of the event will be held on 10-13 November at the Istanbul Expo Centre while the virtual part will be performed online between November 15, 2021 and February 15, 2022.
